Implantation Timing Calculator
Estimate the physiological window when a developing blastocyst typically implants into the receptive endometrial lining (6 to 12 days past ovulation).

Critical Medical Guardrail: Implantation timing is an estimated biological range, not a medical confirmation that implantation occurred or that you are pregnant. Light spotting can occur for benign hormonal reasons and is not definitive proof of pregnancy.
The Clinical Timeline of Embryonic Implantation
Following fertilization in the fallopian tube, the single-cell zygote undergoes successive cleavage divisions as it travels down into the uterine cavity over 4 to 5 days, developing into a 100-cell blastocyst.
Landmark NEJM Study Findings (Wilcox et al., 1999)
In the landmark prospective study published in the New England Journal of Medicine evaluating 221 healthy pregnancies with daily urinary hCG assays:
- Implantation occurred between 6 and 12 days past ovulation (DPO).
- 84% of successful conceptuses implanted on days 8, 9, or 10 past ovulation.
- Implantation occurring on Day 6 was very rare (0.5%), and late implantation (day 11 or 12) was associated with higher rates of early biochemical loss.
